The head of Buryatia Alexey Tsydenov thanked Yuri Trutnev for his contribution to the development of the republic. He wrote about this in his social networks, noting that he has known Yuri Petrovich for many years and since 2018 has been working with him in close connection.

“Since 2018, we have been working closely to make Buryatia a region with economic success, social results and important decisions for people,” Tsydenov said. According to him, all these years Trutnev singled out Buryatia as a particularly important region capable of achieving high rates. “He believed in us, and the republic always received his support, and somewhere even protection,” the head of the region said.

Tsydenov recalled that the Far East was under the control of Yuri Trutnev for 13 years. Programs and investment projects in the Far Eastern Federal District, according to the head of Buryatia, are largely his personal initiative. Under his leadership, 90 special federal laws were adopted for the development of the Far Eastern Federal District. “And all the work with the team of the Far East helped us to bring the republic to the first lines of ratings on economic and social results,” said Alexey Tsydenov.

The head of Buryatia described Yuri Trutnev as an experienced, caring and immersed in the affairs of the republic, calling him an example of a statesman who demands results and himself invests all his forces and ideas in the development of the regions. “His contribution to the future of Buryatia is invaluable, and we, the residents of the republic, will always remember this support,” Tsydenov said.
