The head of the Georgievsky district headed the Association of municipalities of Stavropol

The Governor of the Stavropol Territory Vladimir Vladimirov took part in the meeting of the Association of the Council of Municipalities of the region. The new chairman of the organization was elected the head of the Georgievsky district Andrei Zaitsev.

Vladimirov thanked the heads of municipalities for their work: in almost every corner of the region, social facilities are built and repaired, roads are put in order, and territories are landscaped. According to him, municipal teams participate in every process, and a lot depends on them – together the region fulfills obligations to people and solves important issues for countrymen.

The Governor noted that the Association brings together the heads of municipalities, helps to discuss problems, disseminate successful experience and develop proposals for the development of territories. He expects that under the leadership of Andrei Zaitsev, the organization will confidently continue this work, and the task of the authorities is the development of each city and village, improving the quality of life of people in the Stavropol region.

Earlier it was reported that Vladimirov set the task to make the Stavropol region a leader in gas engine fuel.
