The head of a peasant farm in Karelia was fined 30,000 rubles for systematically ignoring the requirements of the Rosselkhoznadzor. The court found the individual entrepreneur guilty of failure to comply with the order to bring the land in proper condition.
An unscheduled inspection conducted by the department in the period from November 2024 to January 2025 revealed gross violations of land legislation in the leased area of 41.9 hectares. The fertile layer of soil was covered with a sand-gravel mixture, construction and household garbage, and the land was overgrown with weeds and wood-shrub vegetation. In addition, laboratory studies of soil samples recorded an excess of approximately permissible concentrations of arsenic in 1.22-1.86 times.
The tenant was issued an official order demanding until July 19, 2025 to clear the territory of debris and weeds, to put in order reclamation channels, as well as to provide projects for cultural and technical reclamation and reclamation of the disturbed part of the site.
However, at the end of July 2025, the check-out showed that the violations were not eliminated. The land is still not used for agricultural production, and the necessary agrotechnical and reclamation work to restore fertility is not carried out. On the basis of this, the Rosselkhoznadzor drew up an administrative protocol according to which the court imposed a fine of 30 thousand rubles on the farmer.
