The head doctor of the Simferopol maternity hospital: behind the problem of infertility are not only diseases

Medicine provides only 10-25% of success in overcoming infertility, the rest depends on lifestyle, relationships and atmosphere in the family. This was stated by the chief doctor of the Simferopol Clinical Maternity Hospital No. 2 Ilya Glazkov.

In his opinion, treating the problem as purely medical is wrong. Among the causes of infertility Glazkov listed infections, genetic predisposition and somatic diseases.

Specialists usually look for a specific disease and look at the situation purely from a medical point of view, but this approach, according to the head doctor, is not quite true.

“We need to talk about spirituality, about love, about family, about the warmth that we must convey to the child. He must grow in love, we must take care of him, Glazkov said.

The doctor said that medicine is the foundation. But equally important is the lifestyle, relationships and family atmosphere. The problem of infertility, he concluded, should be approached comprehensively, and not only from the point of view of physical health.
