Goloshubov told about the improvement of the mass grave on the road Hill — Tuhomichi

The head of the Kholm municipal district, Pavel Goloshubov, told in social networks about the progress of the improvement of the military burial on the fourth kilometer of the Holm-Tukhomichi highway. The work is carried out at the expense of subsidies for the implementation of measures to ensure the safety of military graves in the Novgorod region.

The contractor has already done a great job: cut down emergency trees, removed the old fence, laid the main part of the paving stones and made a new metal fence. Now the workers finish facing the stele with granite tiles and sprinkling the graves with sand.

After a new fence is installed around the burial site, the contractor will be engaged in the improvement of the territory of the memorial.

Preserving the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland who fell during the Great Patriotic War is our common duty. Thanks to such projects, places of military glory acquire a decent appearance, Pavel Goloshubov emphasized.
