Gorvodokanal in Pskov replaced 250 meters of main water supply on Margelov Street

MP Gorvodokanal has completed an important stage of reconstruction of the main water pipeline on Margelov Street in Pskov. About this "MK in Pskov" reported in the press service of the enterprise.

In two months, the team replaced the worn steel pipe with a plastic one. We also updated the infrastructure: we replaced one well and installed three units of shut-off valves, which will allow us to quickly manage water flows and localize accidents.

A significant part of the new pipe was laid in a “case”, inside an old steel pipe with a diameter of 400 mm. This made it possible not to open the roadway and reduce the amount of excavation work.

Most of the work was carried out on the territory of the 76th Guards Airborne Assault Division, but updating the network will improve water supply and other subscribers: part of the houses on Margelova Street, the village of Opochitsy, the private sector in Korytovo and one of the boiler houses of Pskov Heat Networks.

The company plans the second stage of reconstruction with the replacement of about 360 meters of the pipeline.
