State traffic Inspectorate warned Penza residents about the dangers of child driving
Trusting a child with the steering wheel of a car, motorcycle or ATV means putting him and others in mortal danger

To trust a child with the steering wheel of a car, motorcycle or quad bike is to put him and others in mortal danger. Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate appealed to parents with an important reminder: it is absolutely impossible to allow minors to control complex equipment.
First of all, there are clear age limits. Mopeds and light motorcycles are allowed to drive only from the age of 16 after passing the exams and obtaining the rights of categories “M” or “A1”. You can drive a car only from the age of 18.
But the main thing is the burden of responsibility that falls on adults. If a teenager without rights or with violations of the rules gets into an accident, his parents or guardians will be responsible for broken property and harm to people’s health. And it is not only about financial losses, but also about administrative and even criminal liability.
Teenagers are not able to adequately assess the risks on the road. Their psyche is not yet ready for stressful situations, which often leads to tragedies. It is the duty of parents to strictly control children’s access to keys to equipment, to conduct conversations with them about safety and to prevent illegal driving. It's not just fun, it's a matter of life and death.
