VIS Group announced the postponement of the delivery of the fourth bridge for another year
VIS Group expects to complete the construction of the fourth bridge across the Ob in Novosibirsk by the end of 2027

The press service of the VIS group told Kommersant Novosibirsk that Rosavtodor and the Ministry of Transport of the Novosibirsk region fixed agreements on new construction dates. In addition, the Federal Ministry of Transport extended the period of implementation of the project under the state program until December 31, 2027.
The company believes that these decisions are sufficient to change the terms of the concession agreement. Another argument of the concessionaire was the delay in transferring 2.8 billion rubles from the federal capital grant.
Siberian Concession Company, which is part of the VIS group, previously filed a lawsuit with arbitration against the regional Ministry of Transport. The organization demanded to change the terms of the agreement and postpone the completion date for December 6, 2027. However, the court on October 14 completely denied the claims.
Now the concessionaire intends to appeal this decision. Despite agreements with departments, the company failed to achieve an official change in the terms of the agreement through the court of first instance.
The fourth bridge across the Ob is being built under a concession agreement concluded in December 2017. During the implementation of the project, the deadlines for completion of work were repeatedly postponed. The working movement on the main course of the crossing was opened in December 2025, but the facility has not yet been fully commissioned.
For the full launch of the bridge, it is necessary to complete work on transport interchanges and related infrastructure. Until the official commissioning of the entire facility, travel along the crossing remains free of charge.
Once completed, the bridge will link the South Square on the right bank of the Ob with the Labor Square on the left. The project also provides for the organization of trips to federal highways, which should improve transport accessibility between the districts of the city.
Earlier, "MK in Novosibirsk" reported that the VIS Group dispelled rumors about the penetration of teenagers on the cables of the fourth bridge.
