The Governor of Penza region congratulated road workers on their professional holiday

The Governor of the Penza region Oleg Melnichenko appealed to road workers with congratulations on the occasion of their professional holiday. He noted that the work of road workers is the basis of transport accessibility and economic development of the region, and reliable routes connect cities and villages, individual sections are updated annually, making travel safer and more comfortable.

According to him, in recent years, about 2.5 thousand kilometers of local and regional roads have been brought to the regulatory state in the Penza region. In the regional center, the governor said, 525 kilometers were repaired with a total length of the road network of 724 kilometers, as a result of which the normativity indicator increased from incomplete 40 to 86 percent. Since 2022, 26 bridges have been renovated in the region, which have long been in need of repair.

Oleg Melnichenko stressed that road workers perform their work in any weather and in difficult conditions, and their reliability, responsibility and skill contribute to achieving their goals. He expressed the wish that all projects were delivered on time, the equipment worked without failures, and the results of work pleased the residents of the Penza region, and wished good health, prosperity and new significant achievements for the benefit of the region.
