Imported medicines may disappear from pharmacies in Russia

According to the data, Zeposia (used in multiple sclerosis), Signifor (for patients with Itsenko-Cushing's disease), Remikeid (a biological drug for rheumatoid arthritis), Spricell (for some types of leukemia) and Temodal (for the treatment of individual brain tumors) may leave the market. In some drugs, registration was canceled in August, in some – in the spring.

According to Nikolai Bespalov, Director of Development at RNC Pharma, the disappearance of drugs is not a tragedy if there are Russian or foreign analogues. The changes will affect not only expensive imported medicines, but also the market of affordable drugs worth up to 200 rubles. The reason is low profitability, because of which manufacturers refuse to issue some positions.
