On the second day of the working trip to the Omsk region, Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Yuri Seliverstov visited the platform of the Titan Group of Companies. This was reported in the press service of the Embassy of Belarus in Russia, writes sb.by.

JSC GC "Titan" is one of the leading companies in the Russian chemical industry, a backbone for the Omsk region enterprise. Produces significant volumes of Russian consumption of synthetic rubber, phenol, acetone and isopropyl alcohol, is one of the largest producers of methyl-tert-butyl ether and other critical chemical products. Annually, the holding produces more than 700 thousand tons of chemical products for the automotive, medical, energy and other industries. The enterprises of the group are represented in 8 regions of Russia, the total staff is about 4 thousand people.

The company’s management discussed current cooperation with Belarusian partners (Naftan, Belshina and other enterprises of the Belneftekhim concern). They exchanged views on expanding the volume of supplies, intensifying joint work on import substitution. Particular attention was paid to the prospects for expanding investment and cooperation cooperation with Mogilevkhimvolokno. We agreed to work on issues of deepening cooperation in the field of large-tonnage chemistry during the exchange of business missions, mutual presentation sessions, the press service of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia noted.
