The incident with a major theft occurred with a former employee of the Prosecutor’s office of Petrozavodsk during the flight

During the flight from St. Petersburg to the Turkish Bodrum robbed the former employee of the Prosecutor’s office from Petrozavodsk named Elena. The woman used the services of the carrier Turkish Airlines, transiting through the Istanbul airport.

According to the Baza channel, a large amount of currency - 8 thousand euros (about 660 thousand rubles) - lay in a miniature bag of a passenger, put on the luggage shelf. The disappearance was revealed only upon arrival at the hotel: instead of euros inside were fakes or old banknotes with a face value of one dollar.

The victim herself is sure that no one touched her belongings in the cabin of the liner. The substitution, in her opinion, occurred on the line of inspection at the airport of departure. Although the application has already been filed with the transport prosecutor’s office, the investigation is stalled: investigators have not yet examined the CCTV cameras, have not conducted an examination of the tossed dollar bills and are in no hurry to initiate a criminal case.
