More than 100 high-tech Chinese enterprises, business meetings and 45 new projects are held at the Minsk International Exhibition Center.

More than 100 high-tech Chinese enterprises, business meetings and 45 new projects - the opening ceremony of the exhibition of Chinese goods and services was held at the Minsk International Exhibition Center BELEXPO.
This year the exhibition is dedicated to its five-year anniversary and the Year of Industrial Cooperation between Belarus and China (2026-2027). Over the past five years, it has become a key platform for Chinese enterprises to enter the markets of the republic and the EAEU.

- About 130 high-tech enterprises represent innovative achievements in such areas as high-precision machine tool building, automotive and automotive components, intelligent manufacturing, smart agriculture, medical equipment and consumer electronics, said Song Zhiming, Deputy Chairman of the China Federation of Machinery Industry. The dynamic development of the exhibition is a direct assignment of the heads of both states to build a Chinese-Belarusian industrial park.

According to customs statistics of China, in 2025 the level of bilateral trade reached $ 8.86 billion, of which the products of engineering accounted for 4.244 billion. For the period from January to July 2026, bilateral trade in the field of mechanical engineering amounted to 2.833 billion dollars, showing an increase of 23.9%.

Song Zhiming also said that China intends to jointly with Belarus to create platforms for cooperation, develop technological innovations, implement the principles of green development and build stable supply chains for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.

According to the Minister of Industry of Belarus Andrei Kuznetsov, the exhibition testifies to the high level of cooperation between Belarus and China, and the event itself is an opportunity to get acquainted with the latest achievements of Chinese manufacturers.
- After the proclamation of the PRC, the Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic provided all possible support to this state. Dozens of Chinese engineers and trainees were trained in the workshops of the Minsk Automobile Plant and the Minsk Tractor Plant. Advanced technical documentation for many years determined the start of heavy engineering in China. Some modern Chinese corporations have historically grown out of the technological base that was created with the participation of Belarus, Kuznetsov said.

The trade turnover between the organizations of the Ministry of Industry of Belarus and China has grown 10 times over the past eight years. According to the minister, 45 most promising projects have already been identified in the areas from mechanical engineering to joint research, and active work is underway to implement them.

“The exhibition focuses on cooperation in the industrial sector, deepening production cooperation and targeted services, development of the Chinese-Belarusian industrial park Great Stone, creating an effective platform for cooperation for enterprises,” said Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Belarus Zhang Wenchuan.

First Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Sergey Lukashevich noted that today there are practically no Belarusian enterprises that would not cooperate with manufacturers or partners from China, and the number of companies with Chinese capital in the country has increased by one and a half times since 2025.

- Chinese direct investment has quadrupled since 2020, he added. At the same time, more than a billion US dollars have been invested in our common flagship, the Chinese-Belarusian industrial park Great Stone, the pearl of the Silk Road.

Bright examples of cooperation were the Belarusian-Chinese Belgee auto project, the production of engines, gearboxes and refrigeration equipment, as well as the assembly of cranes and excavators together with MAZ.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition ended with the solemn cutting of the ribbon. Within the framework of the event, the Belarusian-Chinese forum of trade, economic and investment cooperation “Industry at the head – connecting Eurasia” and presentations of Chinese enterprises are also held.
