The solemn ritual of farewell to the Battle Banner took place on the parade ground of the military unit 6713 of the Interior Ministry troops in Mogilev. More than 50 conscripts have been discharged into the reserve, sb.by reports.

The commander of the military unit 6713 Vladimir Plavan reminded that such ceremonies are held twice a year, when the established terms of service are completed by those who faithfully fulfilled their duty.
- Farewell to the battle banner leaves a certain imprint and perhaps a share of sadness that such an important stage of life as the army school has been completed. But your life is just beginning. You are expected in civil positions and in the ranks of law enforcement officers. The most important thing is to remain decent people, and you will succeed, the colonel said.

Words of gratitude and wishes were expressed by invited guests from other law enforcement agencies. First Deputy Head of the Internal Affairs Department of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee - Chief of the Public Security Police Colonel of the Police Artur Shahlai focused on the importance of the passed stage:
- The experience gained in the 5th Special Police Brigade in any case will be useful to you in the future, no matter what profession you choose. It's a sense of comrade's shoulder, of responsibility. And the most important thing for a man is love for his homeland and the ability to protect it, protect his life and family.
Deputy Head of the Department of Ideological Work and Personnel Support of the Mogilev Regional Department of the Department of Security - Head of the Recruitment Department Lieutenant Colonel of the Police Dmitry Susla compared this day with the passing of the "last exam":
- You know what a partnership is, service in a team. And since only conscientious servicemen have gathered here, I want to thank you for your service! It was your adult life exam.

- During this time, I fully understood what it means to protect the homeland. The army gave me a real male temper, taught me discipline and responsibility not only for myself, but also for my comrades. We fulfilled our tasks, learned new things, strengthened our spirit. We return home with pride for our part and our colleagues, Maxim said.

There are wide prospects for the guys, and many yesterday’s conscripts have already clearly defined their life tracks. Some of the guys are returning to the real sector of the economy – industrial enterprises and agriculture. Others will link their future to security agencies. Many are already undergoing medical commissions and selections for further service in the Internal Troops, the Department of Protection, the Prosecutor’s Office, riot police or in defense plants.

Oksana Mikhailovna admitted that her son’s service was a serious test for his will and character, and recalled her past anxieties:
Igor is the eldest of three children. When he left to serve, I, like any mother, worried, asked myself a thousand questions: how is he there, will he cope, who will be next to him? Now, looking at him and his friends, I see the answer: confident people. And I understand that this is the result of your work on yourself and your commanders.
Igor himself confirms that serving was not scary.
- A year passed without notice. I met people I can confidently call friends, discipline grew, and physical performance improved markedly. He was pulled up to the army about ten times, now fifteen, and every morning begins with fifty push-ups.
Schoolchildren Kirill and Egor look at their older brother with undisguised admiration:
- We want to be like him. Get an engineering education and serve in the army!
The official ceremony ended with the passage of personnel with a solemn march and photographing.
