Porsche has restricted the use of some vehicles due to a dangerous defect. According to Road & Track, the problem is related to a malfunction of the central wheel lock.
In October 2024, the company conducted a recall campaign that affected more than 2.2 thousand cars of the 2024 model year, including the 911 GT3, 911 GT3 RS, 911 Turbo, 911 Turbo S, 911 S/T, 911 Carrera GTS, as well as the 718 Cayman GT4 RS and 718 Spyder RS models. Later, in May and August of the same year, two more breakdowns occurred, which was the reason for the expansion of the recall campaign. Now it covers 548 cars of these models.
