Specialists install signal milestones along the roads, starting with those areas where metal breakers are present. Work will be completed within a month, the press service of the government of the Novgorod region reported.
Signal milestones will help drivers better navigate the road. In the dark, they will see all the road infrastructure in advance.
In the Khvoyninsky and Pestovsky districts, frosts already occur at night. Therefore, contractors began to install signs 1.15 “Slippery Road”.
And in order to quickly cope with ice, a combined road car with a sand spreader is on duty around the clock in each district. Such machines will promptly travel to dangerous areas and treat them with deicing materials.
