The average score of quality of summer content of public spaces in the Tula region increased from 80.99% to 87.27%. The results of monitoring were discussed on October 19 at an operational meeting chaired by Governor Dmitry Milyaev, the press service of the regional government told MK in Tula.
Minister of Housing and Improvement of the region Oleg Dyuchkov said that the assessment of the content of public areas is carried out since 2024. Specialists check 105 facilities, landscaped under the federal project “Formation of a comfortable urban environment”, as well as 38 park areas. Among them are 28 parks renovated under this project.
Monitoring results show that municipalities have improved their monitoring of already landscaped areas. What matters is not only the volume of new projects, but also how well the existing spaces contain. Administrations need to organize systematic care for them throughout the year, taking into account the condition of the facilities and the costs of their maintenance.
Leaders of their groups on the quality of the content of public spaces were Kireevsky, Yasnogorsky and Kamensky districts.
Following the meeting, Dmitry Milyaev instructed the heads of municipal administrations to ensure the proper condition of public territories. Deputy Prime Minister of the Tula region Natalia Anikina will supervise the work on bringing spaces into a regulatory state.
Earlier, “MK in Tula” wrote about the opening of the updated Suvorov Children’s Park. The territory of 2.66 hectares was landscaped according to the project “Connection of Generations”, which won the All-Russian competition of the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment. The main work was completed on September 20, 2026, ahead of schedule.
During the renovation of the park, historical themes, landscaping and modern recreational opportunities were combined. There are areas for walking and communication, children's games, sports and events.
