Petrograd district court closed the cafe "Sunny Day" on the embankment of the river Karpovka, house 20. The reason was gross violations of sanitary standards. This was reported in the joint press service of the courts of the city.
After two cases of gastroenteritis, visitors came to the cafe with a check. It turned out that there were dirty floors and ceilings, refrigerators with rust, no sink for washing hands. The staff worked without medical records and daily check-ups. There was no water in the washroom, the faucet didn't work, inventory without markings. And the toilet was located directly in the production room, and the waste was stored outside a special container.
23 kilograms 650 grams of products were removed from the cafe. A company representative pleaded guilty. The court suspended the cafe for 25 days.
This is not the first time that St. Petersburg has been closed due to unsanitary conditions. Earlier, the October district court ordered the owners of cafes of Uzbek cuisine to eliminate violations that posed a threat to the health of visitors. In the kitchen, the flow of processes was not observed, ventilation did not meet the standards and made noise in the apartments of a residential building. The court gave 90 days to resolve the problem.
