Residents of Kaliningrad complained about the lack of walking areas in the area of the school under construction on the street Hero of Russia Marienko. The citizen raised this issue in comments under the publication of the head of the city Elena Dyatlova, who personally checked the construction of the educational institution.
“There is not enough walking area in this area, not a single smart square, but a cluster. Where do people in this cluster stumble? — wrote Kaliningradka.
The city administration responded that there are no free municipal territories nearby where it would be possible to equip a square. However, this response did not suit the woman. She pointed to dense residential buildings and reminded that the square on Artillery street and did not begin to create, although residents voted for its improvement.
Kaliningrad also wondered why during the construction of a large number of houses in walking distance do not provide for squares and fitness complexes.
The question of improving the area remains open. Residents expect that with the further development of the territory, the authorities will pay attention not only to educational facilities, but also to places for walking and recreation.
