Kaliningrad blogger Dmitry Evsyutkin spoke about his experience of dry starvation - a complete refusal of food and water. According to the man, during the practice, he subjectively felt satisfied, but admits that his impressions can not serve as a recommendation for other people.
Dry fasting is a health hazard due to the risk of dehydration and related disorders of the body. The personal experience of one person does not allow one to judge the safety of such a practice or its effectiveness in treating diseases.
According to Dmitry Evsyutkin, he made the decision to try dry fasting after he faced health problems. According to the blogger, for six months he repeatedly went to doctors, and in the future may require surgery.
“I am not an opponent of official medicine,” Evsyutkin said, explaining why he decided to explore alternative approaches to health care.
Before the trip to Kislovodsk, the man communicated with friends interested in alternative health practices, and people who have already had experience of such experiments.
At the same time, the decision of a person to try an alternative practice does not confirm its medical validity. In particular, dry fasting cannot be considered a proven method of treating diseases.
Evsyutkin said that during practice he continued physical activity, did exercises and walked. At the same time, his subjective feelings do not allow us to assess how safe this experience was for the body.
The blogger also described changes in health during practice. However, the subjective sensations of a person do not allow us to judge the absence of dangerous consequences of refusal of fluid.
Evsyutkin is interested in various approaches to healing and reads literature devoted to such practices. In particular, he mentions alternative approaches to nutrition and starvation.
At the same time, the blogger admits that he does not consider his experience as proof of the universal effectiveness of the method.
“I cannot say that dry fasting cures any disease. My experience does not give grounds to draw such conclusions, he said.
In the conversation, Evsyutkin also mentioned autophagy, a process in which cells recycle their own components. However, dry fasting is not recognized by traditional medicine as a method of treatment, and its safety and effectiveness for healing have not been confirmed. This practice can pose a serious threat to health.
Evsyutkin noted that the topic of starvation remains part of his personal interests. However, personal interest in such practices should not be seen as a recommendation to readers. Prolonged water deprivation leads to dehydration and can be fatal.
However, personal experiences, even if the person evaluates them positively, do not replace medical evidence and do not allow to recommend dry fasting to other people.
Dry fasting is not a recognized method of treating diseases. Prolonged refusal of water can cause dangerous dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, kidney damage and other serious complications, up to death. Dmitry Evsyutkin’s story reflects his personal feelings and does not confirm the safety or effectiveness of this practice.
Do not try to repeat the described experience. Having a mentor, prior training or positive subjective feelings does not guarantee safety. Before any changes in nutrition related to a health condition, you should consult a doctor.
