Kalmykia took part in the federal meeting on forest restoration

Employees of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Kalmykia took part in the meeting of the Federal Forestry Agency on compensation forest restoration.

The meeting in the videoconference mode was held by the Federal Forestry Agency (Rosleskhoz).

The participants discussed the current status of fulfillment of obligations on “compensatory” reforestation in the regions. Representatives of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in charge of this area presented reports on the work done, as well as outlined problematic issues and plans for further fulfillment of their obligations.

At the end of the meeting, priorities for the near future were identified.
