In the Astrakhan region plan to increase revenues from fines for traffic violations by 280 million rubles during 2026-2030

In the Astrakhan region plan to increase revenues from fines for traffic violations by 280 million rubles during 2026-2030. For this purpose, it is envisaged to install additional photo and video recording complexes, increase the collection of fines and closer cooperation with the State Traffic Inspectorate.
The largest increase in income is expected in 2026. It is estimated at 80 million rubles. In the next four years, the region expects to receive an additional 50 million rubles annually.
The implementation of the measures is entrusted to the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure of the Astrakhan region.
One of the tools to increase revenues will be the expansion of the system of automatic fixation of violations. Additional complexes will allow to record violations of traffic rules in areas where appropriate control will be organized.
Together with the installation of equipment, the authorities intend to improve the recovery of fines already imposed. Separately, it is planned to improve coordination with the traffic police units.
At the same time, the number of new cameras, their location and installation dates have not yet been announced. It is not specified how much of the expected income will be directly related to the new equipment and how much will be related to increased collection of fines.
The amount of 280 million rubles is a planned increase in budget revenues for five years. It is not the cost of purchasing photo and video fixation complexes.
All additional revenues in this direction are provided in the regional budget.
