Specialists of the Republican Hospital named after Baranov made a professional feat, returning to full life the titled athlete Grigory Malkov. After receiving a serious injury, the athlete went through a difficult recovery path, as the head of the regional Ministry of Health Mikhail Okhlopkov told in his social networks.

The Minister stressed that the success was possible thanks to the incredible willpower of Gregory and the high skill of doctors. Despite the pessimistic forecasts, the athlete did not give up and went through exhausting rehabilitation. Now Malkov is back in the ranks: in early October at the All-Russian competitions in Orel, he showed a brilliant form, replenishing his piggy bank with gold, silver and bronze medals. The wife of the champion, Anastasia, who has been his main support all this time, confirmed that the athlete has fully recovered and is ready for new achievements.
