The first large-format agricultural fair started in Mogilev. The autumn forum, which unfolded on the territory of the sports and recreation complex "N2O" along Zlatoustovsky Street, is designed to provide citizens with high-quality fruit and vegetable and meat products for the winter season directly from manufacturers, the correspondent of sb.by reports.

There are many people, the tents are full of signs, and in the air there is the smell of fresh vegetables and autumn apples. That hype is understandable. The goods at the site were presented by 13 large enterprises of the region, including such flagships as “Grandmother Krynka”, “Domochai” and “Mogilev Meat Plant”. Also, seven agricultural organizations, five peasant farms, two fish farms and individual entrepreneurs are involved in trade.
Trading rows offer a traditionally wide range of fresh vegetables and fruits, meat, fish, honey, nuts, as well as seeds, seedlings and products of leading urban industries. What about the prices?

First of all, the look clings to apple collapses. Here in the tent "Arinika-agro" are neat price tags: fresh Belarusian apples - 2.2 and 1.5 rubles per kilogram. Here it is a matter of taste, you can try different varieties right on the spot and decide which is optimal for you.

We move further into the vegetable rows. Here is a real paradise for lovers of borsch set. In the tent of OJSC "Cadino" the price tag for potatoes is 0.99 rubles, carrots - 0.99, beets - 0.49, and onions - 1.09 rubles per kilogram. But the real hype is in the net trucks. Here is a farmer in camouflage exhibits bags of potatoes: his variety “Queen Anna” goes for 0.79 rubles. And literally in two steps on the next tray calls the sign: “1 rub. / kg”, “0.8 rub. / kg” and even “0.6 rub. / kg” per net.

Nearby, the buyer looks at potatoes for 78 kopecks, and a little further briskly goes "Pershawflower" for 0.7 rubles. Sellers vying tout the goods, and you feel that there is a quiet price war for each bag.

On the counter of the Central Mogilev Market, pepper costs 3.28 rubles, and cauliflower - exactly 5 rubles per kilogram. Beets go for 80 kopecks, red onions - for 3 rubles, and carrots - for just a ruble. There are also forest gifts: foxes at 13.5 rubles per kilogram and nuts at 9.3.

A separate story is the retail outlet of the Klimovichi bakery combine. Here they sell grain by weight: wheat and corn - 12 rubles per 30 kilograms, and triticale grain - 10 rubles for the same bag.

A few meters to the side - and then the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy deployed a real garden nursery. Spruce in a pot - 70 rubles, black pine Oregon Green - 110, walnut and apple seedlings Antonovka - 25, and apple tree Kovalenkovskaya - 30 rubles.
The cost of pumpkin at the fair depends on the variety and size - the range from 1.5 to 8 rubles. Corn will cost 3.2 rubles per kilogram, and lingonberries and cranberries - 10 rubles per kilogram.
There's a lot of excitement at the cheese table. Here it is round, and pigtails, and in packaging. The price tag also depends on the variety and weight: 7.5, 10, 10.4, 15.4 and even 16.5 rubles.
Do not ignore and meat showcases, where it smells of smoked meat. In the tent "Alexandria" behind the glass laid sausages, lard and meat delicacies. The eyes literally run away: boiled sausage - 15.15 rubles, smoked - already 26.28, and a piece of meat can be taken for 5.31, and 29.74 rubles.

Prices at the fair are really lower than in stores. There is a monitoring group of management. Our management, as well as the trade department of the Mogilev City Executive Committee and economic departments in the districts control that manufacturers do not overstate prices.
To ensure the availability of goods, the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee recommended that the participants of the fairs, which will be held in the city from October 17 to November 1, set marginal retail prices for the main positions. So, the cost of one kilogram of potatoes and beets should not exceed 0.8 rubles, cabbage and carrots - 1 ruble, onions - 1.1 rubles, and apples - 4 rubles.
