- I came for vegetables for the family, said the buyer Natalia. I want to make lecho: it needs sweet peppers and tomatoes. I plan to freeze some vegetables in order to add them to soups and stews in winter. First I look at the price, then the quality. I choose dense pepper, without stains and damage, tomatoes are ripe, but not too soft. If I find the right one, I'll take a few pounds. At the same time, I look after potatoes and carrots - these products are constantly needed at home. In autumn, I try to buy vegetables for a few days in advance, and I take with reserve what can be frozen or canned.
There's plenty of greenery at the fair, too. Dill and parsley are offered 2 BYN per 100 grams, cilantro and hand – 5 BYN for the same portion.

Fruit rows attract a variety of apples. Prices start at 1.60 BYN per kilogram, but most varieties offer 3-3.50 BYN. Pears cost 4 BYN per kg, plums - about 5 BYN. A kilogram of cranberries will cost 10 BYN.

- When customers come to pick up apples, I always ask why they take them. - If you want sweet apples for a snack, you can look at the variety "Gala" or "Honey crunch". Those who like a more pronounced sourness, Imrus is suitable. For pies and compotes, it is also better to choose fruits taking into account your own preferences. Many take a few pounds of different varieties: so you can try and compare.

A separate place on the site is occupied by beekeepers. Honey can be purchased for 7 BYN. May, later grass, goldenrod and buckwheat offer 14 BYN per liter.
- Buyers choose honey according to their preferences: someone likes soft and tender, and someone is looking for a richer taste. May is usually taken by those who do not like sharp aromas, buckwheat is chosen for its characteristic tartness, and herbs - for a variety of floral notes. Zolotarnikov also finds his fans, the man behind the counter explained. We try to explain how the varieties differ so that everyone can choose honey to taste.
