Hinstein congratulated employees of the Kursk station on the holiday

Today, on the Day of the passenger complex worker, the head of the Kursk region Alexander Khinshtein took part in a teleconference organized by Russian Railways. At the event, he addressed the company's management and industry employees.

First of all, Khinstein expressed gratitude to Director General Oleg Belozerov and the entire team of Russian Railways for their assistance in the restoration of the Kursk region. Particular attention was paid to the fate of the Kursk station. This building, which is one of the most beautiful in the country, suffered from an attack by the APU in 2023. However, now the facility not only restores its historical appearance, but also is equipped with advanced infrastructure for the convenience of passengers.

Repair of the first floor and facade is already completed, work is actively underway in the basement. The station becomes a key element of the transport and interchange hub being created in Kursk, which is being built with the participation of railway workers, the governor said.

The head of the region noted the positive dynamics in the development of infrastructure - 11 stations at Solovyinsky Krai stations have recently been transformed, and next year it is planned to repair four more.

In conclusion, the Kursk Governor congratulated all employees and veterans of the passenger complex on their professional holiday, thanking them for their dedication and selfless work.
