The Governor of the Kursk region Alexander Khinshtein spoke at the educational marathon “Knowledge.Unity” in Moscow. More than 600 young people from all regions of the country gathered in the hall - those who showed themselves in different fields.
Khinshtein shared the Kursk experience: according to him, the region knows more than anyone what the force of unity is. In August 2024, the enemy invaded the country - the only precedent in the recent history of Russia - and it was stopped on the Kursk land. Then people from all over the country came to the rescue: the military, volunteers, doctors. Each in his place, not by word, but by deed, brought the common Victory closer.
The governor stressed that the Kuryans survived in those difficult days thanks to the unity of the front and rear and mutual assistance. The Kursk region, he recalled, is a heroic land: here in 1943 the backbone of Nazism was broken, here the raids of Polish interventionists, nomads and hordes were reflected. Kursk has always been the border of the country, and this heroism, according to Hinstein, is sewn into the genetic code of the Kuryans.
The Year of the Unity of the Peoples of Russia reminds us that strength is not always in wealth, identity and autonomy - it is in what makes us similar when we are all so different. “It is a great pride to work on this land today. We will do everything so that it develops and prospers! – said the Governor.
