Maples from Prechistenskaya embankment were transplanted to Fedulov Square in Vologda

In the regional capital began transplanting trees from Prechistenskaya embankment. The first six maples have already been planted on Fedulov Square near the DK PZ. In total, 20 trees will move to a new place.

Transplantation is associated with the improvement of the embankment of the Vologda River. Earlier, an updated site was opened from the temple of Alexander Nevsky to Bellagio. The red bridge is also in order.

Work continues on a 1.6 km stretch along both banks of the river – from Lermontov Street to the Red Bridge and from it to Rubtsov Street. There will be a birch grove with the support of business. In total, 2.3 km of coastline will be transformed this year. Funding comes from three levels of budgets.

Fedulov Square will also be landscaped. With the support of business, benches and swings will be put here, pedestrian paths will be made, new lighting will be mounted.
