Comfort, safety and new opportunities: how schools and gardens of Minsk-World are developing

What makes the area really alive? Not just architecture and infrastructure. Other residents. Children in particular: their laughter, their studies and their first discoveries. Minsk-World understands this. Kindergartens are built with climbing grounds and swimming pools, schools with engineering classes and whole traditions. All within walking distance.

Kindergarten No49 in Minsk Mir is a place where every day is a small discovery. Today there are 240 pupils - more than the project. But they say that there is enough space for everyone and there is still room for imagination. You can already see at the entrance - there is at least enough creativity here.

And also - sports: climbing wall, relays with obstacles, rope, swimming pool. You can even ride a bike right down the hall. Under the supervision of a teacher and with benefit: young drivers learn the rules of the road. Educational processes are all in a playful way.

And in the school sphere, Minsk-World also has something to be proud of! The newest school, 228, opened less than a year ago. Everything is thought out: from armored windows to acoustics in the assembly hall. And most importantly, an environment where learning is fun.

Renovating schools and gardens in the country is a constant focus. For this purpose, for the third year in a row, much more funds are allocated: the cost of repair and maintenance increased by one and a half, or even twice. We want our children to get a better education.

Gleb Lavrenovich, Deputy Chairman of the Education Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee: “Today, the state program “Intellectual Belarus” is operating. As part of this state program, we plan to build three more preschool institutions. Construction and installation work is already underway for the kindergarten, which is located in the 26th quarter. We plan to start building a kindergarten in the 25th quarter as early as next year.”.
