The State Control Committee checked the progress of land reclamation in the Mogilev region - a number of violations were identified

The State Control Committee of the Mogilev region monitored the course of reclamation measures and the use of reclaimed lands. This was told to the sb.by correspondent by the leading state inspector of the Mogilev region KGC Sergey Matveev.

It turned out that it is necessary to intensify the reconstruction of reclamation systems. One of the reasons for the slow pace of work is the lack of necessary documentation. For several objects it is still under examination. Another reason is the worn material and technical base of reclamation organizations.

At the time of monitoring, the machine and tractor fleet of reclamation organizations in the region consisted of 163 units of basic equipment. Of the 91 single-bucket excavators, 87 units were serviceable, 4 were in ongoing repair. One of the 13 trenchers was also repaired. The same thing happened with bulldozers.

The existing machine and tractor fleet is worn out by more than 77%. Current and major repairs of equipment are carried out at the expense of the profit of PMC both on its own and with the involvement of third-party organizations. At the same time, in conditions of constant operation, the load on each unit increases annually, and accordingly, the costs for its repair and maintenance.

Cases of prolonged downtime of reclamation equipment have been recorded.

For example, in JSC "PMK-93 Vodstroy" Mogilev district more than 7 days idle bulldozer due to the need to repair the rear axle.

For more than a year, a multi-bucket excavator leased at PMK-98 Vodstroy in the Chaussky district stood idle due to malfunction of the hydraulic system pumps. Due to idleness, rent was not paid. A similar situation was observed in OJSC "PMK-85 Vodstroy" Bykhov district.

There are not enough personnel everywhere - drivers, tractors.

In some cases, inspectors revealed low quality of work and overestimation of their volumes during the commissioning of facilities.

So, in JSC "PMK-85 Vodstroy" Bykhov district during cultural works on the reclamation system "Trosna" on an area of about 20 hectares did not completely remove wood and shrub vegetation, the land was not plowed and sealed. On the reclamation system "Whilst" on an area of about 55.1 hectares, percentage discarding and plowing were not carried out. Unfulfilled work has already been paid for from the regional budget, now recalculation is underway.

Reclaimed lands are untimely involved in agricultural turnover - such facts were revealed in two farms of Bykhov district.

Sergey Matveev stressed that great importance is attached to reclamation measures in our country, significant state funds are allocated for their implementation, so control continues, including for the timely elimination of the identified shortcomings.
