Health Committee: injured in the tram man operated, stable condition

In Minsk hospitalized passenger tram, who received knife wounds. The Health Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee gave an official comment on the patient’s condition, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.

The conflict between two previously unknown men aged 66 and 59 began at a stop. The verbal skirmish continued in the cabin of the tram, where suddenly the eldest of the participants took out a knife and used it against the opponent.

According to the press secretary of the Health Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee Yulia Borodun, the patient entered one of the leading clinics of the capital. The team of doctors successfully performed surgery - the operation was performed in full.

- At the moment, the patient's condition is assessed as stable, hemodynamic indicators in normal. Now he is under round-the-clock observation in the department of thoracic surgery - this is a standard and necessary stage for the proper recovery of the body after such a load, said Yuri Borodun.

She also stressed that specialists are doing everything possible: complex drug therapy is carried out, the man receives the necessary treatment and care.
