Compensation for diapers for the disabled: who and how can receive payment

Families in which a disabled child under 18 years of age is brought up with an IV degree of loss of health or a disabled person of group I who needs diapers for medical reasons can receive partial reimbursement of the costs of their purchase, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports with reference to the Minsk City Agency for Public Service.

It is important to note that this is a payment for goods already purchased. It is allowed to apply for compensation four times during the calendar year, but not more than once a month. With regular purchase of diapers, reimbursement of expenses can be issued monthly.

Costs will need to be documented. To do this, you will need a copy of the cash register or commodity receipt from the pharmacy or store with the mandatory indication of the name of the purchased goods. The main thing is that the check clearly shows what exactly and where it was purchased. The company must be located on the territory of Belarus.

The following documents must also be attached to the application and passport:

1. 1.certificate of a disabled person of group I or certificate of a disabled child (for children under 18 years with IV degree of loss of health);
2. 2.birth certificate, if diapers are purchased for a disabled child;
3. 3.individual rehabilitation program, habilitation of a disabled or disabled child or the conclusion of the medical advisory commission on the need for diapers;
4. 4.checks confirming the purchase;
5. 5.passport or other identity document (for children under 14 years old – documents of their legal representatives);
6. 6.certificate for the right to represent the interests of the ward, power of attorney or document confirming family relations, if the interests of a disabled person of group I are represented.

The application is considered within 5 working days from the date of submission. If a request for information from other authorities is required, the period will be 5 working days after the receipt of the last document.

This procedure is free of charge, and the decision is valid at a time (for one payment).
