The soloist of Jane Air and ex-member of Little Big Anton Lissov said that doctors diagnosed him with cancer. Due to the upcoming treatment, the concert in St. Petersburg on November 1 will be his last performance this year. This was reported by News.ru.
According to the artist, in the summer he had surgery on the throat. The removed tissue was malignant, so now Lissov will undergo radiation therapy.
Due to treatment, he had to re-evaluate his touring schedule. The upcoming concerts – 30 October in Moscow and 1 November in St. Petersburg – will be the last in 2026. All other performances scheduled before the end of the year were postponed to the spring of 2027. According to Lissov, combining therapy and concerts is physically impossible.
This is not the first serious test for the health of the musician. Previously, he was hospitalized in the Mariinsky hospital with a suspected heart attack. Fortunately, then everything was fine: Anton Lissov cheerfully left the hospital and felt good.
