Conference “Serpukhov frontier” returned the names of the fallen near Moscow

In 1941, the city became a shield on the approaches to the capital: here the Red Army, militiamen and volunteers stood to death. October-December 1941 is forever inscribed in the history of Serpukhov.

The conference brought together historians, teachers, local historians and descendants of the participants of those battles. We talked about new research, research, and how to tell young people the truth about war.
