American rapper Sean Combs, known as Diddy, may be transferred to another correctional facility due to fears for his safety

American rapper Sean Combs, known as Diddy, may be transferred to another correctional facility due to concerns for his safety. This is reported by the Daily Mail, citing a source from the environment of the musician and penitentiary consultant Sam Angel.
According to the newspaper, the tension around Combs may have increased after a series of searches aimed at identifying prohibited items in the prison. Some prisoners, according to the source, are unhappy with the increased checks, linking them to the conditions of detention of the rapper.
Earlier, NBC published an article in which it was alleged that Combs in prison uses the services of massage therapists, gets access to mobile phones and elite alcohol. After the publication, according to the Daily Mail, searches have increased.
Penitentiary consultant Sam Mangell suggested that the rapper could be transferred from Fort Dix prison in New Jersey to another institution.
On Wednesday, the portal TMZ reported that Combs suffered a head injury in a fight with Christopher Coke, known as Dudus and associated with drug trafficking in Jamaica. However, according to the Daily Mail, the US Federal Bureau of Prisons denied the information about the attack.
In 2025, Combs was sentenced to 50 months in prison on two counts of transporting people for the purpose of prostitution. On charges of racketeering and trafficking for sexual exploitation, the jury acquitted him.
The musician has been in custody since September 2024. According to the latest Federal Bureau of Prisons data, his release is scheduled for January 21, 2028.
