Kostromich urged to take part in the Saturday at the Korostelivskoye spring

The Kostroma regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society (RGS) reports that on Saturday, October 17, a large Saturday at the Korostelevsky spring will be held in the Susaninsky district. This place is historical - according to local legend, the spring beat from the ground in the seventeenth century, when the headman of the village was Ivan Susanin.

Activists of the RGS have now begun actively ennobling the spring for the whole, in order to turn its surroundings into a recreation area.

At the moment, part of the territory near the spring has already been cleared and a support wall has been installed, where in the future a bas-relief of composite concrete will be placed.

On the upcoming Saturday, Kostromich volunteers will continue clearing the territory from boulder and dry stool, as well as preparing the land for future plantings. The gathering of participants Saturday - at 10 am at the spring. For those who do not have personal transport, a minibus for 15 seats will depart from the District House of Culture at 9:00. It is advisable to take with you tools - axes, secators, rakes, hacksaws and chainsaws. Representatives of the breeding plant "Medvedka" will provide participants of Saturday hot food.
