The press service of the Kostroma Ministry of Internal Affairs reports that in Makariev, the police encouraged two employees of the postal service, who prevented the plans of Internet fraudsters to deceive elderly Kostroma pensioners.
One of the scams was disrupted by the postal operator Oksana Petrushova, who suspected that the grandmother, who came to the post office in order to transfer 200 thousand rubles to a "relative" abroad, was under the influence of fraudsters. She started a non-binding conversation with the client, and she herself transmitted information about the suspicious transfer to the police duty unit and the postal service's own security service.
The police officers who arrived at the place dissuaded the pensioner from parting with her blood...
A similar story took place in the Makaryevsky district — Lyubov Krasnoshchekova, the post office manager, showed commendable vigilance there. Both women were awarded letters of gratitude on behalf of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia "Makaryevsky".
