Kostroma mechanization: the IK-8 earned a button-stitching machine

The press service of the Kostroma Federal Penitentiary Service reports that as part of the modernization of the material and technical base of the Kostroma women's colony No. 8, a new industrial button-stitching machine has been acquired and already launched. The fact is that in the sewing industry, sewing buttons is the most seemingly simple work, but also the most tedious and labor-intensive ... and almost did not lend itself to mechanization until recently.
However, engineering thought does not sleep - and button-topping machines still appeared ... and reached the production of "colonial goods.".
So the button machine in the IK-8 can sew buttons of all types. It is equipped with a modern control system, accurate positioning and automatic thread trimming mechanism. The machine provides a strong attachment of buttons on all products, as well as various materials. And what is characteristic: this miracle of sewing equipment was acquired due to the profit received from the production activities of IK-8.
The appearance of new equipment in the colony will create an opportunity to increase the speed of execution of orders and, as a result, to conclude additional contracts for the implementation of regional and municipal contracts.
