Twelve students of the Institute of Industrial Technology and Design of Kostroma State University went to the Chinese city of Luoyang. During the month, they will conduct research in the laboratories of the Luoyang Institute of Science and Technology. For KSU, this is the first scientific internship in China in the last ten years.
The program provides for practical work: participants will conduct experiments, conduct observations and study the characteristics of modern materials. Scientific support will be provided by teachers of Kostroma University – they will remotely monitor the work of students.
In addition to laboratory classes, the program included intensive Chinese language study and cultural events. Thanks to this, participants will be able to master professional vocabulary and get acquainted with the daily life of China.
KSU Rector Denis Tchaikovsky noted that the trip will be an important stage in strengthening international academic ties. He stressed that the internship will allow students to apply the knowledge gained in practice and work with modern materials in the conditions of existing scientific laboratories.
