The press service of the Kostroma City Hall reports that the exemplary art collective of the Kudykina Gora studio will soon represent our city at the international festival of folk art "ART ERA", which will be held from October 22 to 27 in the Chinese city of Chengdu.
The group, created under the Nerecht folklore ensemble "Venets", has repeatedly become a laureate of all-Russian and international competitions. For the performance at the festival in China, Nerekht residents prepared a special number, which should tell the world through the language of dance, music and costume about the unique culture and original traditions of Kostroma and its region.
In addition to participating in competitive performances in China, artists are waiting for a large cultural and educational program. Our artists will participate in master classes from leading choreographers of Asia, as well as visit historical sites of Chengdu.
