Engineer of the construction control service of Gazprom Transgaz Nizhny Novgorod LLC is accused of receiving a bribe. This is due to the gasification of the northern districts of the Nizhny Novgorod region, which is conducted under the national project “Infrastructure for Life”. This was reported in the regional FSB. In respect of the defendants, cases were initiated under Part 4 of Article 159 and Part 5 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

Detainees are charged with theft in 2024-2025 104 million rubles. This money was allocated for waste disposal during the construction of a gas pipeline and a gas distribution station. According to the investigation, they provided forged acts on the removal of waste.

An employee of Gazprom Transgaz Nizhny Novgorod is accused of signing fictitious acts for a bribe of 500 thousand rubles.

The engineer and two subcontractors were put under house arrest. Four other defendants are in custody.
