Olga Tsulina, a primary school teacher at Makarenko Lyceum No. 3, spoke about the use of artificial intelligence in school: according to her, it is useful in preparing for lessons, but harms the control. She said this on the air of Radio Crimea. Tsulina is the winner of the competition for awarding awards to the best teachers for achievements in pedagogical activity.
The teacher noted that technologies help to find new formats for involving schoolchildren, and she personally applies them in preparation for classes. Children need to be interested in the subject and topic, and AI helps to find different approaches so that students leave lessons with knowledge and discoveries.
At the same time, Tsulina opposed the use of digital assistants in exams and test rooms. According to her, with this approach, nothing is remembered and does not remain in your head, so she believes that it is better to let schoolchildren write cheat sheets.
