Kursk Guardsmen seized almost 500 weapons in 9 months

In the Center of licensing and permitting work of the Department of Regardie in the Kursk region held a meeting on the results of nine months of 2026. This was reported to the department. The meeting was held by the acting Deputy Head of the Department - Chief of the CLRR Lieutenant Colonel of Police Igor Vyalykh.

Participants discussed gun control, regulation of private security, provision of public services and rules for the use of personal electronic devices by employees.

The representative of the traffic police made a report on the prevention of accidents and compliance with traffic rules. Senior Assistant to the Head of the Department for Military-Political Work Major Vladislav Taborskikh spoke about the prevention of corruption crimes and the prevention of negative phenomena.

During the reporting period, LRR officers conducted more than 5,000 inspections of gun owners. According to their results, 358 administrative protocols were drawn up and 494 weapons were seized. Another 742 units were handed over voluntarily. Since the beginning of the year, the agency has accepted more than 20,000 applications for state services in the field of arms trafficking and checked 124 legal entities, including private security organizations and companies with licenses for arms trade.
