Students attend real court hearing

Employees of the courts of the Kursk region continue to conduct career guidance activities for high school students and students. Their goal is to acquaint young people with the work of the judicial system and professions in demand in court.

The next meeting was held in the Kirov district court of Kursk. The guests were students. The event was opened by the secretary of the court session Mikhail Zuborev - he told about the upcoming holiday for the entire judicial system of Russia. Court Employee Day will be celebrated on November 5. The holiday is young: it was established by the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation in 2025, and the date is timed to the publication of the decree of Peter I “On the form of the court”.

Earlier, the judges did not have an official holiday - there was an unofficial Day of the court worker, which was celebrated on December 5. It was on this day in 1917 that the Decree on the Court No. 1, which abolished the previous courts and initiated the creation of new ones, was adopted.

After the theoretical part, students became listeners of civil affairs. Considered the issue of reinstatement of the man in office — according to the plaintiff, to dismiss him was inclined by the employer. The court sided with the applicant and reinstated him at work.

Tatiana Belova, a 5th-year student of the Law Faculty of the Kursk Academy of State and Municipal Service, shared her impressions: according to her, such events are very interesting and informative - both for study and for further life, since labor disputes accompany a person throughout the journey. She noted that such meetings give a serious impetus to choosing a future profession, and thanked the organizers.
