Vitebsk Regional Library named after V. I. Lenin for one day will turn into an interactive space where there will be a place for excitement, theatrical action, and leisurely conversations about books. On the Day of Libraries of Belarus, September 15, a holiday will be held here under the motto “The library can surprise”, the correspondent of sb.by reports.

At noon, the conference room will present a board game "The Way of Heroes. Belarusian Partisans." It is presented by the developers themselves - employees of the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences. So guests have a rare opportunity not only to see the game, but also to hear the story of its creation firsthand.
At the same time in the children's department starts the quest "Operation "Monsters" - information and review program, which is sure to captivate young readers. And a little later in the general reading room will show the batle play "Dabradzei": an ancient genre that is equally loved by both children and adults.
In the small hall at 14:00 will present the book “Blue Sky of Childhood: Vitebsk years of Mark and Bella” – a story about the Vitebsk period of life of Marc Chagall and Bella Rosenfeld. After that, an exposition of book rarities from the collection of the Vitebsk Theological Seminary – “The Joy of Word” will open in the Ex Libris exhibition hall. These are the books that are usually kept under glass and are only available on special occasions.
In the foyer of the third floor at 17:30 will show the play "Sultry moms" - easy, ironic, for a good mood. And in the conference room, the intellectual quest “Mayakovsky Code” starts: the presentation of the collections of the library will turn into a real adventure for young people and adults.
The evening will end with a picturesque vernissage “My Garden” in the gallery of the first floor.
All day in the service departments will work exhibitions of new products and interactive quizzes. The second-floor foyer will feature the art labyrinth Mon Marc au-dessus de la ville, a space woven from quotes and images by Marc Chagall. In the gallery of the first floor will open a salon of literary predictions "Litarary code", and in the general reading room - intellectual action "Literary standard GTO" and exhibition-quiz "I know Belarus.".
In the department of publications in foreign languages, you can pick up a brush and bring your name out with ink in the calligraphy workshop, and over a cup of tea - slowly talk about what you read at a tea ceremony.
Come September 15 - choose an event to your liking, take friends and be surprised with us.
