Lipetsk region collects almost a tenth of greenhouse vegetables in Russia

In the Lipetsk region since the beginning of the year collected more than 62.5 thousand tons of greenhouse tomatoes and 42.8 thousand tons of cucumbers. The region provides almost 10% of the total volume of greenhouse vegetables in the country. This was reported in the regional Ministry of Agriculture.

Vegetables are grown all year round in four greenhouse complexes of the region. The focus is on tomatoes. As of October 20, 2026, their harvest reached 62,560 tons. 1,550 tons of salads were also harvested.

Vegetables are also grown in open ground. Here already removed cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, garlic, zucchini, table beets, carrots and pumpkin. The total harvest of open ground amounted to 3.9 thousand tons. The cabbage cleaning is still going on.
