Lipetsk Prosecutor’s office has sought compensation for the disabled

A resident of the Gryazinsky district, a disabled person of the I group, had to pay for the rent of a wheelchair on his own, since the necessary means of rehabilitation were not provided to him on time.

As established by the Gryazinsk interdistrict prosecutor's office, the regional branch of the Social Fund gave the man directions to receive a room and walking stroller. However, for more than two months he could not use them: during this time, the directions lost their power.

The prosecutor’s office appealed to the court, demanding to recover from the OSFR the costs of renting a wheelchair and compensate for moral damage – 20 thousand rubles. The court granted the claim. The execution of the decision is under the control of the prosecutor's office.
