Lipetsk car inspectors will strengthen control over drunk drivers over the weekend

Over the weekend, auto inspectors will again increase attention to drivers who sat behind the wheel in a state of intoxication on the roads of the Lipetsk region. This was reported in the state traffic Inspectorate of the region.

The State Traffic Inspectorate urges anyone who witnessed driving while intoxicated to report these cases by calling 02 or 112. An indifferent attitude to a malicious violation of the Rules of the road can help prevent misfortune - often it is the eyewitness signal that allows inspectors to quickly stop a drunk driver and prevent tragedy. It is important not to pass by if you see a person sitting behind the wheel with signs of intoxication: in this situation, the count goes for minutes.

Drivers are asked not to risk everything for a moment’s pleasure and not to drive after drinking alcohol. A person is responsible not only for himself, but also for passengers, other drivers and pedestrians. A clear head behind the wheel is a guarantee of safety for all participants in the movement.

Raids on weekends are not a one-time measure: practice shows that these days the number of trips and, accordingly, risks increase. Therefore, inspectors are strengthening their control, and citizens are asked not to stand aside and report suspicious cases. A timely call can save someone’s life.
