Lipetsk volunteers put in order an old park in Palna Mikhailovka

In the estate of Stakhovichi in Palna-Mikhailivka, Stanovlyansky district, pyramidal oaks grow, which are more than a century and a half. The trees were brought from Bulgaria and planted by representatives of the noble family in the middle of the XIX century. Once under their crowns walked the owners of the estate.

The historic park needs care and local volunteers are helping to keep it in order. Recently they held a Saturday: cleared the area around the old oak trees.

The Palna Ecoclub also joined the improvement work. Its participants planted near the alley of juniper and fir. Over time, new plantings will complement the appearance of the estate and make this place even more picturesque.
