People, technology and discipline: what else is behind the success of the Belarusian agro-industrial complex

The high quality of our products is the pride of the whole country. But it all starts in the fields and farms. The village produces the main thing - raw materials: grain, meat, milk, vegetables, fruits. In peasant hands is food security. And in recent years, a good part of Belarusian exports, a considerable $10 billion.

This year's cleaning was special. And not just because of the record collection. If we look at the situation in recent years, it becomes obvious that the further increase in the efficiency of agricultural production is becoming increasingly dependent on the human factor. Competent management, strict technological and labor discipline, quality of personnel, decent motivation of work. And what methods of increasing efficiency exist in the agricultural industry?

The harvest is still going on, and it is all the more valuable for farmers, since the Head of State noted them in this hot time. “Kozlovici-Agro” set benchmarks not only in Sluchchin, but also in the entire central region.

To add from year to year, when you are already in the leadership is not an easy task. But both in crop production and in livestock breeding this is possible. Here we adhere to the principle that in order to grow, we must build! And not just plans, but new farms.

Farm "Tikhinichi" is one of the largest milk producers in the country and is regularly celebrated with high state awards, including the President's Gratitudes. But production indicators are not considered as an end in themselves: a strong enterprise becomes a resource for the development of the territory in which its employees and their families live. This approach concerns the preservation of spiritual values – for example, the farm repaired the roof of the local church and installed new domes.

Today in Tikhinich almost every element of everyday life is built into this system of development. Asphalted streets, modern houses, a working housing and communal services system – the basic conditions are complemented by infrastructure for education, sports and recreation. Outpatient and hotel, stadium and tennis court, sports and health complex with gyms.

This model has a positive effect on demographics. High wages in agriculture combined with a developed social sphere make Tihinici attractive not only for those who were born here.

Yuri Vasiltsov, Director of the Tikhinichi Agricultural Enterprise: What does this mean to me? It means a lot of wealth to the people who work in my company. Our main wealth today is people. If I create comfortable conditions for them as a leader, then, accordingly, we will have good results in our work. We see the prospect of our enterprise in order to create conditions in the social sphere even better than now, to make even more beautiful – so that people willingly come to our agro-town, stay here, create new families, so that there are many children, smiles, and that our enterprise achieves even greater results.

Each farmer provides about seven jobs in the city. Therefore, their work in our country is in special honor, and the President emphasizes this in every possible way. Preservation of the village is a strategic goal of the state. So, we need strong farms that will become a driver of development.
